" What a mean little creature! I'm sure the Rokk will make something tasty with him.
I'm just kidding, of course.
Old Man Barlo winks slyly. " - The quest text at the compeletion of Old Man Barlo's daily fishing quest, "Crocolisks in the City!"
And lo and behold, who do I se as I open up my bag of fishing treasures?
Why none else but the elusive little Toothy! ♥ :D I was so exited - and I got the Recipe for Captain Rumsey's Lager to boot!
And not to mention - this was the first time EVER doing the Outlands fishing daily.
I'm pretty exited right now. :D

Inisha
I walked through winterspring, shivering, the cold, icy wind whipping my hair into my face and the howling of the wind and the yetis nearly deafening me. I longed to be back in thunder bluff, or in eversong... even Un'goro would be a better place! But, alas, I was here.
Spotting a white blur ahead, I darted behind a rock, pulling an arrow from my quiver and drawing my bow. I heard a deafening roar and a yeti burst through the snow towards me, long fur matted with snow. I pulled my bow up and aimed, but the wind and the snow made it hard for me, and when I fired, the shot was blown sideways, and, instead of hitting the yeti in the chest, it hit him in the arm. Enraged, the yeti charged at me, knocking me back several feet and sending me sprawling in the snow. He ran at me again, roaring. I managed to to roll to the side just in time, but he slashed at me with his claws and managed to give give me a nice gash on my left arm. The yeti growled and attacked me again, knocking me back several more feet. As I landed my head hit a rock, and I began to lose consciousness. I could see the yeti about to charge again, but I was too weak to get out of the way. The last thing I remember seeing was the yeti turning, and a large, white shape charging at it.
I awoke a while later, covered in snow - yet I was warm... then I realized that it wasn't snow, it was a huge white bear. The snow had stopped, the yeti lay a few yards away, dead. The huge creature sitting on me stirred, and turned it's head toward me, snout slightly bloody. I got up, hastily bandaging my injured arm, and then turned to the bear. I bowed to it, and offered a bit of dried meat in thanks. The bear took it, and I could see it was female. She gnawed on the meat I had given her, then got up and walked over to me, standing by my side. I smiled, I had yet another pet.... I call her Inisha, as she seems to like the name.

My lastest tames
Haha! This post isn't just me dumping screenshots! >:) take that!
This is a story I wrote about the time I tamed Humar on my Hunter.
Please note this was before I tamed my gorilla.... so the time frame may seem kinda weird
It was a typical day in the barrens. Hot, dry, the blistering sun bearing down… ugh. Why was I here again? Ah, yes… to look for a pet. I had tamed many… but bid farewell to most, none just seemed to click.
As I made my way up from the small goblin town of ratchet I daydreamed about finding the one beast they call Humar - Humar the Pride lord. But, I would never find him… The black beast of the Barrens, fur as dark as night, eyes a glowing green… Ah, yes, what a feat it would be to tame a beast of such renown…
My thought wandered as I strolled up the dusty path, my white lion Pawprint walking calmly beside me.
As I neared the place were they say Humar dwells, I noticed a mage killing everything in sight - Zevhras, Lions, Raptors, Hyenas… everything. Well, the disturbance must’ve angered that black lion enough for him to come out of his lair, for when I walked up to the tree where his lair is supposed to be, what do I see but a large, black lion glaring at me!
He was beautiful, his long black mane blowing gracefully in the wind, emerald eyes fixed on me, charcoal tail whipping back and forth, long black claws gleaming in the sunlight.
I bid farewell to my wonderful white lion, knowing he would be happier out in the wild with his mate and cubs. After watching my beloved pet run off to his den, I turned to the large black lion sitting behind me. Humar watched me, testing my strength, gauging my power and guessing my weaknesses. I set down a trap, the jaws covered in ice, a magic blue aura surrounding it, and looked into his eyes. This tame would not be easy, I was sure. I pulled out a large fish from my bag and hid it behind my back, picking up a stone and throwing it at him. Humar roared and charged, tripping over the ice trap and becoming frozen in magic ice. I pulled out the fish then, and threw it to the left when the ice finally broke. Distracted by the fish, he went after it instead of me. I then took the chance I had been waiting for, and tackled him, pinning him down. He growled and thrashed, trying to get free, but I held him down, managing to avoid his slashing claws and snapping teeth.
He didn’t struggle for long, about twenty seconds of wrestling on the ground and he calmed, letting me get off him and taking his place by my side as my faithful pet. I was proud for I felt I had a worthy and strong pet, and I had fought to prove my worth to him.
For now I shall call him Shade.

I think I've found it!
Alas, I am as stumped by this one as I was when I tamed my boar. I just tamed a mistvale gorilla on my hunter (was just gonna see if I liked him) and I totally fell in love with him! I always thought I hated gorillas, and so never even thought about taming one, but, man, I like this guy already! And, as a bonus, he holds aggro great!
So, here's a story from Pawtrack (my hunter)'s perspective.
It was a warm, breezy night in Stranglethorn. It was a usual night, growls, yips, yowls and squawks would drift by on occasion. But while it may have been a usual night for some, I searched, as always, like a lost soul, trying to find what I couldn't quite find. I knew I needed a pet, but every one I tamed just didn't quite fit. I love my cat for his looks, but alas, he can sometimes get old. My plainstrider was okay, but I usually just got him out of the stables to show off, and, plus, I never really had a thing for plainstriders. It was the same with all my other pets, they were good and all, but, still didn't seem right. I was awakened from my daydreaming as my hawkstrider squawked and a gorilla charged at me - the same one that would always come up and ambush me when I ran by. I fell off, making a small dust cloud as I hit the ground - my hawkstrider running off again. Stupid useless bird! I thought to myself Gets startled by the smallest thing and then - bam! He's gone, and I have to go find him.... I was about to run off to try and find my stupid hawkstrider when a thought struck me, why not try and tame the gorilla? I had heard many stories about hunters finding the right pet where they never expected it. Sure, they were old fairy tales, myths, legends, children's stories... but why not try? I asked myself. Maybe, just maybe, I'd find what I was looking for... Maybe. I walked up to the gorilla, thinking how stupid this was - I never even liked gorillas! Or did I? I approached him cautiously, looking into his eyes and summoning up all my courage. I slowly extended a hand, reaching out with my mind, trying to make a connection with the big, clumsy gorilla before me. It was all a jumble then, most tames are, a wild mix of your emotions and the animals as you try to make a connection. And then, when I opened my eyes, I remembered seeing an intelligence in his eyes. Unlike the silly, mischievous look of my cat, the thoughtful one of my plainstrider, the smart but rather goofy one of my wolf. No, his gaze wasn't an 'I'll mindlessly follow you wherever you go' sort of gaze, nor a 'I'll kill stuff with you if you feed me' or a 'love me and I'll love you', but a smart, excepting gaze. He wasn't my pet, and me his master - no, we were partners, he was my friend, not my mindless slave. And, for all I thought I hated gorillas - their silly, drooly grin, their big pot belly, their clumsy-looking build - I know I love them. And I know those old tales are true, or at least partly. For all the things that might make another hunter gag at the sight of such a silly, clumsy-looking, pot-bellied, ugly-faced and utterly laughable pet, I only love him ten times more. Even if his breath smells like mushrooms, and his belly bigger than an ogre's (and just as hard to fill), I still love him.
Well, we'll see if I stick with him, but I really think I might this time. :)
Ah, and his name is Grub

wtb your opinion and any suggestions on pets
What pet should I tame on my hunter? I'm at a loss; every pet I tame just doesn't quite feel right!
I've tamed a diseased wolf, a blue tallstrider, a black lion, a white wolf, a grey/orange lynx, a white lion, a white crocolisk, a red hyena, a blue moth.... the list goes on and on! But none seem to feel right, none seem to fit my character... :( wtb help on finding the right pet!
Uggghhhhh I hate it! I can't find a pet that's right. I dunno, maybe I should just tame a bear, name him smokey or teddy or some other un-imaginative name and just grind till I'm 80... but... I don't wanna - I think that's huntardy. I wanna get a pet that I'll like and wanna level with, not some DPS machine wolf or a generic bear or pig - that seems like it's a thing a huntard would do, I wanna get a pet I'll like and stick with, someone to help me, to stay by my side in thick and thin, the thrill of the hunt(er) for me is finding the right pet ..... The probelem is, however, the finding of that pet.
See, the thing about it is it's so unpredictable... you could go search for a ghostsaber, but on the way pick up a foreststrider and stick with the foreststrider instead.
I really need some help - what pet should I get???? On my dranie I knew I wanted a white stag, but since it wasn't tame able went for a boar - so maybe I need to figure out who I want first, then see what I end up with.
I wuv my moth, but he sucks at holding aggro...
I wuv my kitty but he gets old...
I wuv my wolf but he's so plain...
Help me plzzzzzzzz!
/sigh

Phew!
Lil' update....
Me and my mom have been leveling two Night Elf Hunters together for the last few days, and we planned to get them ghost kitties once they got to 19.
Okay, so...
I ran my hunter to the Ruins of Mathystra and on the second Cat Figurine, scored my ghost kitty (and I guess I was really lucky, because it was a level 19 to boot!).
Then I ran my mom's hunter up there and didn't have quite as much luck as the first time... On the eighth figurine however, the cat spawned! This was a much more -- erm, "exciting" -- tame. Picture this: I run up, click on the statue, and BOOM! the cat spawns, I abandon my bear and start to tame; everything's going fine... then I aggro the naga to my left... O.O I run back, Shadowmeld (thank goodness!) and try and eat up, but I see the ghost cat go into stealth, and as soon as I'm out of Shadowmeld, I'm in combat. Then the cat ambushes me, and I start to run away, but give up and try to tame. Well, I guess luck was on my side that day, as I survived with 39 health, and a little Ghost Saber!
Oh, and also, I got 2 greens and a non-BOP blue as drop! :D

Flocks of Hawks
I just ran my brother's hunter (level 13) through Howling Fjord to tame a Daggercap Hawk. You know the ones; the level 6-7 hawks around the Vyrkl camp near Uludar with the same skin as the Night Elf Druid non-epic flight form. It was an epic journy. Well not really, I ran as a ghost to the closest GY and tamed the hawk that was sitting on the building next to me. But I did get a chuckle wondering what people thought of a naked, level 13 troll hunter running straight into the closest wolf he saw.
Well, now he has about the rarest pet a level 13 hunter can get (or maybe the rarest). And it's (not sure if it's a he or a she) name is Stormwing. Ahhhh, what a unique pet!

Humar the Pridelord
OMG
I must be the luckiest hunter in all of WoW history!
I just decided to try and tame Humar and--- Hold it....
Okay, first introduction:
I have several WoW charecters, they are:
Tizi lvl 80 troll DK--Venture Co.
Stripesnout lvl 59 tauren druid--Venture Co. (formerly of Hydraxis)
Pawtrack lvl 30 BE hunter--Venture Co.
Alsari lvl 21 BE rogue--Venture Co.
Luuka lvl 22 orc shaman--Venture Co.
...and some other random low levels (listed are just my highest/main charecters)
So, now all that's cleared up, I can continue (well acctualy, I have another intro; then I can continue)
Okay, first of all -- I dunno if this is normal hunter luck; but I got the strider cluchmother first time I was ever in moonglade; plus I wasn't even looking for it! (well, I kinda was... *hangs head*)
So now I think, what the heck, I'll try and tame Humar... why not? So I go on thottbot... and I think once I see where he spawns, hmmm I didn't know he spawns there -- LOL, you can see I'm not too much of a hardcore pet collecter O.o
So then I fly my hunter to Ratchet, and first thing I think is how much time I am wasting. I run up to where he spawns, put on track beasts and all I see are some raptors, hyenas, and lions. Then I see some mob (IDK name... some rare elite zevra) and then see a 71 mage killing it (and everything else). And think Oh god... I am wasting my time, arn't I?. I wisper her and ask her if she's seen Humar and not to kill him, not that she replies.
So anyway, I run on a little more, and (having forsaken track beasts), SPOT A BLACK LION, THERE HE IS, HUMAR THE PRIDELORD!!!!! Right there, just sitting there -- Humar the Pridelord, my heart beats, adrenaline pumps through my veins, but can I get him? I run up to him and start taming him, forgetting about all the other lions around him. So, to make a long story short: I got killed by all the other lions /cry. But hope is not lost! I run back to my corpse as fast as I can and rez. I eat up, put on aspect of the monkey, and start taming again (from a different angle, so I don't aggro the other lions). But as I tame him, I realize; OMG I DON'T HAVE ANY MEAT TO FEED HIM!!!!!!! Well, it turns out I had some fancy-shmancy buff food that was meat, and he ate it -- wasting fancy food, I know! But it was worth it!
Anyway, that's it! Just happy to have this wonderfull black beauty at my side!
P.S.
I'm still trembling a little!
Man, if I find Loque, it'll be my end! I'll have a heart attack! I'll faint! I'll-- well you get the picture...
